VALLEY OF CHROME - TOMORROW IS NEVER PROMISED ALBUM REVIEW

Metalcore titans, Valley of Chrome released their latest EP “Tomorrow Is Never Promised” on February 23, 2024 via Tower of Doom. It features the songs “Luha ng Kaaway”, “Walang Takot” and the latest single “Boses.” This is the band last material released after Rogel Africa, the band’s vocalist left the Philippines and go to the United States and start a new life.

I had a fun experience of listening this EP and not doubt that Valley of Chrome is top notch in terms of delivering heavy music. The tracks in this EP offer heavy and melodic at the same time. It is brings us back to the Valley of Chrome sound that I wanted to hear. It has an improvement comparing on their last album which they have more on experimenting on the new sound.

Yet the lowlight that I could see in this EP is that I felt that this EP was rushed. The EP has a vibe of a full length album however as Rogel left the country. The band decided to release the EP immediately. I fell that they will release more song in this EP.

Overall, the last material that they are released is satisfying and each band member poured their talents and love creating this EP. I hope someday Rogel will come back and reunite with the band and create more music. I am looking forward on his return.
