Tubero Wala na akong Pera - single review

Tubero dropped their new track entitled “Wala Na Akong Pera” and was released on Sep 22 2021 via Tower Of Doom Music. The song offers 3:04 minute run time which a longer play comparing on their other tracks…

The intro of the song starts with a soft guitar and drum play with a dark ambiance, if you’re a fan of tubero, you know there a surprise behind on these soft intro. Then when birjin, hits the vocals the aggressiveness of the song starts. The aggressive guitar and relentless drum play brings heaviness on the song. The song brings in the grindcore sound that has a similar sound from Napalm death. I like it. The pureness of the metal is in there and I am giving praise on the drummer.

The lyricism of the song has a more different approach comparing on their other song, it gives more on reality in life, IKA NGA REAL TALK LANG, it tells about having no money in the pocket, worrying about the bills in electricity and water, purchasing foods and payment of loans. It also mention about having no jobs due to pandemic which reflects our society today. Tubero shows the realism of the current state of everyone’s condition. If you listen this you would surely relate and possible curse the situation right now! F*(k Covid! One of the criticism I have on this song is the absence of the green humor and they toned down all the profanity. Tubero’s fans would surely, surprise since the humor is one of the assets in the band. This song has more serious tone. Over all the song is good and satisfying to listen.
